Hello everyone,

The web series that I directed/produced and for which I wrote most of the episodes is coming to the end of its first season. To get started on a new basis for the next season, I'd love to get in depth feedback of what works and what doesn't. I haven't been successful so far ay attracting a wider audience and I'd like to find the weaknesses of this web series.

You can find everything here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL74E13BB513BFDBAA (youtube)

or here: http://webseriesnetwork.com/video/video/listForContributor?screenNa... (wsn)

I would really appreciate your feedback if you have time to give it.

Thank you all,

Kind regards,

Aurélien

What are your current marketing efforts beyond tweeting and facebooking?

Thank you for your comment. So far, I've followed most mainstream ways to market:

- As mentionned: facebook (groups, page and profile), twitter,

- Registering the webseries: wsn, webserieschannel, funnyordie, several platforms (although I've re-centering on youtube), IMDb.

- I have connected with Youtube users and exchanged links on front page and sent my videos as youtube video comments on other channels,

- Created a website to show the webseries and drive traffic (remaking it at the moment for better SEO and efficiency),

- I have done a little paid advertising (through twitter mainly).

My financial means are very limited and I couldn't do much paid advertising so far. I'll try and do some youtube advertising through adwords next month but it'll eat up my budget very quickly.

That's pretty damn good effort. But your audience isn't necessarily on Twitter. I can do full analysis of your series and advise on how to improve your marketing and advertising. I also provide Ongoing Monthly Support. See the Consulting tab on the top page for more information.

Thanks a lot for your offer Rich. I checked it out and it looks awesome. However, if I can find the budget for paying advertisement, I can't, by far, afford a consultant. I will keep it in mind though if money starts coming in. Tahnks a lot again.

It quick format works. The gags/jokes play well.

The same looping background gets a little old. Perhaps for the second season add a few different backgrounds into the mix. Also a background or two with some extras milling about might be nice. Different backgrounds also open up opportunity for different material or product placement.

Mostly if you are not hitting a wide audience it is a lack of adverting. It is a good product but will take time to build an audience organically.

You need to think about who your audience is, where you can find them, and when, where & how you can get your product in front of them.

Hi Jarrod,

Thanks a lot for your feedback thta's awesome. I will keep all you pointers in mind.
