I am an actor that has always thought of creating my own work in both the writing and directing realm.  I've been wanting to create my own work instead of waiting for that magical phone call!  I never knew where to find inspiration or where to start.  A Halloween costume sparked a frenzy of ideas and writing I never knew I had in me!  It is very rewarding to see what you create in your head and to see it transpire to film.  This web series I created is my first endeavor into writing, directing and editing.  The main principal behind this project is simply to learn and grow as an actor.  I love all genres of films.  Michael Mann is my favorite director.  HEAT being the first movie that really wanted me to become an actor.  I love comedy as well.  Jim Carrey being one of my favorites along side Robin Williams.  The Man is a learning tool and a fun project to create and learn from.  I hope to continue to make more and more episodes with stronger writing and a bigger budget! I would love to get constructive criticism on my web series and to hear other peoples thoughts. The only issue technically(that I am aware of) is in some parts the audio can be better!  Thank you for your feedback!

It amazes me that even with such a low budget as mine, the learning and experience derived from this web series is priceless! It was very fun and challenging to be able to act, direct, produce and edit my own project. I even collaborated with a few people as well, because generally you're not the only one that has to do everything. It's good to know that I can work on my own and work with others as you collaborate with other peoples ideas and visions. I can see Sgt. Dick Peterson on a t-shirt, coffee mug...I'm just saying.

You can check out the other episodes either from youtube or my Official Site:

Hey Bobby,

I watched the pilot and Episode 3 part 1. Loved the bathroom scene cracked me up. You should put the episode # at the beginning of your titles so it's easier to see. The titles were cut off on youtube when looking at first glance. Also, you might want to make a playlist and put them in order in there.

My notes on the episodes...I think they are a little long in parts and you could cut them down to make it move a little quicker. Obviously you know about the audio it's really tough to figure out in my personal experience. My friend and I are getting better at it but it still needs work. The writing on some of the parts is a little flat for me but, there were some bright parts as well. I think that will keep getting better as you go along. I thought the shots were really good and I liked the movement you (your camera guy) used on several of them.

Sorry if I'm a little vague, but I'm pretty much new to all this stuff and don't know all the vocab. No acting, editing, script writing, or filming experience here. Learning day by day watching others like you, reading up, and of course trying to create something myself. Keep up the good work and have fun with it! I think that is the most important thing.

I will check back once in a while to see what you are coming up with.

Cheers,

Zach

Thanks Zach and thanks for the follow. Yes definitely as you progress yourself you will learn so much and be able to fine tune as you march ahead. I will check out your project and I appreciate your feedback.  It is fun to create and just the act of doing it, will give you so much experience and knowledge it's priceless. Thanks again.

Bobby
