Original Web Series, Added By You!
Hi all!
I'm looking for a couple of series creator to interview for a book chapter I'm writing for an academic text book called "Crossmedia Innovations" to be published late 2012.
The proposed chapter will be looking at web series as a maturing form of the web video phenomenon. It will look at web series networks as emerging economic markets with new cross-platform distribution models, as well as being community-building and talent-furthering strategies within an up-and-coming industry. The main focus will be on the potential benefits online TV networks offer for emerging content makers, how they provide alternative and additional platforms to video aggregator sites like YouTube and, in turn, how these networks are pushing the boundaries of emerging genres on emerging platforms.
Please PM me ASAP if you're interested in participating! :)
And, please include a link to your series and some viewership details if you have them, including what networks your show is hosted on.
More details, and chapter abstract here: http://steinarellingsen.com/2012/03/03/a-book-chapter-on-web-series...
Thanks for your time!

Permalink Reply by Epic Level TV on March 7, 2012 at 12:27pm I'd be interested in participating if you still need people. I've produced several big web series (like "XOMBIE: Dead On Arrival", which has gotten over 13 million views, and "Bite Me", which has gotten at least 15+ million), and we've just launched three new ones over the last year. --Cindi Rice

I have sent you a friend request, but would you be able to provide me an email address I can send the questions to?
Thanks,
Steinar

I am still working in my web series called " Something is Wrong". I have been creating and working in every detail such as writing the script, creating the website, creating the scenery for each scene, directing and acting. It has been a very hard work, but in spite of it all, I am very happy of having the opportunity of creating for the New Media. In addition, the web series " Something is Wrong is a SAG production.
Synopsis:
A man is in therapy. Complications arise when he discovers that his therapist has been involved in his personal affairs since his childhood. He also learns that he has been creating events and family members in his mind. In addition, he finds out that one of his hallucinations is a real person, not an imaginary one.
