selected the "old blip player" from their embed dropdown list.. the new player is nicer but for whatever reason, wasn't allowing or displaying a thumbnail, but the old player didn't seem to have that problem

Yeah, actually was having a problem trying to add the link, which is why i went with the embed code, sorry about that.  The link from blip doesn't seem to be working when i try to paste it and add the video?
