Daisy Whitney of New Media Minute caught up with VendrTV CEO Daniel Delaney. He speaks on how to monetize web video. "Don't be broad, be very niche," says Delaney.

He also talks about the game of cat and mouse that happens in monetizing web content. "You can't get an audience to monetize until you make the content, but you need the money to make the content, and you can't make the money without the audience. It's cyclical."

Hulu Slashes Monthly Subscription Price To $7.99, Offers One Week Free Trial For New Subscribers



Popular video website Hulu.com on Wednesday began selling its monthly subscription service for $7.99 it was announced by Hulu CEO Jason Kilar on the company's blog.



The joint venture of NBC Universal (32%), Fox Entertainment Group (31%), ABC (27%), and Providence Equity Partners (10%) apparently hot to move the subscription service is also offering a one week free trial for all new subscribers.
