The next call of duty for Ugly Betty star America Ferrera is to EP a telenovela 'Pedro & Maria for MTV and online, under Ben Silverman's Electus banner.



Jarred Weisfeld and Ian Kleinert of Objective Entertainment, Ben Silverman and Tony-winning Broadway writer Quiara Alegria Hude (In the Heights) will serve as executive producers. Procter & Gamble Productions has also signed on to produce and lend creative and advertising support.
