Billboard.com announced yesterday that Canadian recording artist and actor Drake will be making an appearance on LeBron James' upcoming animated web series 'The LeBrons.'

The Lil Wayne protege and Young Money Entertainment artist will play himself in his guest role on the series, which is set to premiere in March. 'The Lebrons' features four different characters (all played by James) that were originally inspired from a Nike ad campaign.

Drake's first studio album, 'Thank Me Later,' released this summer, sold 447,000 records in its first week, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200, his first release to do so. The album has since gone platinum.
