@Ryan and Jason. I really like this, but what sticks out like a sore thumb is Michael Jai White's acting. Not feeling it. A bit controlled and forced and you can tell he's 'acting!'

Have to agree Jason, as great as it is mood wise... I really expected it to be more in line with the origonal concept movie.

 

though still hands above that movie back in the 90's.

Wasnt too impressed by this considering a lot of money was behind it with a full on professional crew and studio. The positive about this is that it is getting the term "web series" into the publics dialog which helps us all involved. If you watch the original short the director did with his own money and crew you will probably agree with me that it was so much better than this. You can check it out at:

The productions value is off the web series charts!   But I can't help wonder if they wish they were doing a hollywood movie instead, especially with Warner Brothers backing them...well, who cares...
