The Result of My Experiment Circulating a Video Under Several Titles

This is the first experiment I've done with the use of several titles for a video published on YouTube in regards to search and discovery performance. People go to YouTube to search for videos and have videos suggested to them based on their searches. Why limit my video to one title? My theory was that by publishing a video under several titles I could increase the chances of that video appearing in more search results, reaching more viewers. So I shot a Viddy of my dog G watching the premiere of UFC's The Ultimate Fighter on FX yesterday and posted it on YouTube literally just now.

I published the clip with the following titles:

Clip 1: My Dog Watching UFC

Clip 2: My Dog Watching Ultimate Fighter on FX

Clip 3: My Dog Loves UFC

The Result:

YouTube accepted the first clip and rejected the others saying they were duplicates (which they are). My conclusion is indeed that why I believe that use of different titles could expand your reach, YouTube believes its unnecessary, and won't allow them. The tried and true formula for a successful video or web series is still to create something interesting and entertaining that people want to share. I hope this helps others on their journeys.
