Harmon appeared in the popular web series 'Riese'

Today, the producers of the feature film 'Judas Kiss,' announced that they've cast 18-year old Canadian actor Richard Harmon (Riese the web series, Caprica, Smallville, Fringe, Percy Jackson and the Olympians) in the time-warping school drama.

In 'Kiss,' Harmon will play Danny Reyes, a gay film student at a university, caught in a tug of war between a tortured past and a troubling future.

Harmon won the role in a videotaped audition over more than 1,000 L.A actors.

“Danny struck me right away as a very relatable character,” Harmon said. “Once I read the whole script, I knew this movie was something that I would be so blessed to be a part of. I know people will be able to really connect to what he feels throughout the movie, and I’m going to have lots of fun with it.”

Also cast is Brent Corrigan, who appeared in last year's Oscar-winning film 'Milk.'

'Kiss' will begin lensing this summer in Seatlle, WA.
