'The Hire' was so simple, to the point and effective that I wonder why it hasn't been replicated.  They overhyped H+ and failed woefully. Bryan Singer going on record and saying he'll "change the people view web series" is a bold statement. It doesn't even come close to being a decent web series.

Okay, just watched the first two episodes.   I actually liked the first one, although I think the end of Episode 2 should have been the end of Episode 1.  Ten minutes would have felt substantially better than a two minute episode...  The premise is kind of cool too.

The opening montage of news footage and old school Youtube "user generated" style commentary to set the stage was well done.   However, the two "main" characters seem to just disappear by the middle of the second episode.   Highlighting different characters every episode is fine, but not for something that short.

The reason BWM's "The Hire" worked despite the short episodes was that each episode was a complete story.

H+ episodes on the other hand are in serial format, but the problem is they don't even have a complete thought.   Basically the H+ storyline broken down is: Something just happened!    For it to really work you need to have: "Something just happened--now here's how the characters react..."

Episode 2 left us with "The whole world is gone!" but they needed to leave it with "The whole world is gone...But I have a plan..."
