We are proud to announce that several copies of WSN magazine (the first and only magazine devoted to web series) is now on display at the prestigious Writers Guild of America, West in Hollywood.

The WGAW represents writers in motion picture, broadcast, cable and new media industries, including web series creators. They were excited to see a magazine dedicated to promoting web series entertainment.

'Man on a Ledge' star Elizabeth Banks and her husband Max Handelman are co-producing a new movie titled 'Pitch Perfect,' about a singing competition. 

To supplement trailers, Banks and Handelman are currently overseeing editing on an untitled web series (which she also stars) promoting the movie, according to USA Today.

"As producer, it's so important to shape the movie's message," she says. "Marketing is so important."…

Producer-casting director Kim Williams (casting director of Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family and Diary of a Mad Black Woman) and Carlos Ramos, Jr. (prod./dir.) are casting 'The Hill,' a dramatic web series. Shoot starts mid-late February in L.A.

Machinima, the 4th largest channel on Youtube devoted to video game aficionados is breaking new grounds in online entertainment the likes of which we've never seen.

Second, Lionsgate is partnering with the channel on the second season of the hit web series 'Bite Me,' about a zombie outbreak in which the only humans immune to the flesh-eating zombies are -- gamers! 'Bite Me' season two is set to premiere this March on Machinima.com before expanding to the FearNet Cable Channel, owned by Lionsgate, and other traditional outlets. Each episode of 'Bite Me' has more than 3 million views. 

Third, the $2 million budgeted web series 'Mortal Kombat: Legacy' which has been viewed more than 50 million times on Youtube could be the most successful web series ever, DeBevoise claims he's been told. Machinima distributed 'Kombat.'

Fourth, Machinima with its success has attracted the attention of Wall Street.…
